Happy Halloween

Last day of the month.  Where did the time go?  This will be the first year in 25 years that I am not taking my kids out trick-or-treating.  So instead, I made treat bags and boxes for my co-workers.

????????Spider Treat Bags ???????? ????????

The patterns are from My Scrap Chick.  Had lots of fun making them.

Fun Tag

I spent the past weekend in York, PA with a couple of good friends at Quick Quotes, Private Reserve.  We had a blast.  Put together an entire album with 20 pages.  I just need to add pictures.

We also did this cute tag.

We used Viva inka gold metallic rubs on chipboard.  This was a first for me.  I didn’t like using it, but I did like the results.

We also used the paints on some of the pages we did.  This is one of my favorites.

You can see the shine better in this picture.

Already thinking about next year.  Can’t wait.

Pooh Swap

Winnie the Pooh is such a loveable little bear.  When I joined a Disney swap I knew that Pooh was the one I wanted to do.   I have had this cricut cartridge since it came out and it gave me the perfect opportunity to play with it.

The swap needed to have a character at least 5 inches tall, a title, and a journaling box.  I just had to add the sign.

Baby Paper Piecings

I have been busy working on my swaps for the month of October. I finished up the baby swaps first. This is what I made for baby boy using the color blue.

The pattern is from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I also used a baby pattern from KaDoodle Bug Designs for the baby girl swap.  I did add my own little shirt to the girl, because I wanted to add more pink.

And for the neutral swap I used a pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven to make this adorable little rocking horse.

I am still working on the Thanksgiving swap and hope to post those soon.
